Dog Mom Coffee Co. was never just about coffee.
It was built on a love story... the kind that begins with little legs, big personalities, and the unmistakable charm of Dachshunds. Like so many dog lovers, our family quickly discovered that dogs have an incredible way of changing our lives. They celebrate our happiest moments, sit beside us through our hardest ones, and somehow always know exactly when we need them most.
They remind us to slow down.
To be present.
To love unconditionally.
Those simple lessons became the heart of everything we do.
Where It All Began
Our journey started with something much simpler than opening a coffee company.
Because high blood pressure runs in our family, finding a truly flavorful decaf coffee became a mission. We loved the ritual of coffee, but so many decaf options left us disappointed. We believed coffee lovers shouldn't have to choose between taking care of themselves and enjoying an incredible cup of coffee.
So we started creating something better.
What began as a tiny Etsy shop, operating with a dream and a handful of blends, slowly found its way into the hearts (and mugs) of fellow dog lovers. As word spread, that little online shop grew into weekends at local markets, where we discovered something even more meaningful than selling coffee, we were building a community.
As our customers continued to support us, we partnered with a larger manufacturing company that shared our commitment to quality, allowing us to expand our coffee collection, introduce premium loose-leaf teas, and continue growing without sacrificing the creativity and care that made Dog Mom Coffee Co. special.
Today, we're incredibly proud to welcome customers into our very first storefront at 227 Main Street in Hamilton, Ohio. Every purchase and every customer welcomed through our doors is a reminder of just how far this journey has come.
More Than Coffee
As the founder of Dog Mom Coffee Co. and a Licensed Social Worker, I've spent years helping people navigate anxiety, grief, burnout, trauma, and life's many challenges. One lesson has remained true through it all:
Self-care isn't selfish.
It's necessary.
Sometimes self-care looks like taking a walk.
Sometimes it's reaching out to someone you trust.
Sometimes it's allowing yourself five uninterrupted minutes with a warm cup of coffee before the day begins.
And sometimes... it's simply sitting beside the dog who loves you without conditions.
Dogs have an incredible ability to ground us in the present moment. They don't care about yesterday's mistakes or tomorrow's worries. They remind us to breathe, to laugh, to rest, and to find joy in life's simplest moments.
That's the inspiration behind Sip. Stay. Heal.
It's not about having all the answers.
It's about giving yourself permission to pause, even if only for a few minutes.

Built Around the Dogs We Love
While Dachshunds inspired the beginning of our journey, Dog Mom Coffee Co. has always been a celebration of every dog.
From tiny Chihuahuas to giant gentle companions, energetic puppies to wise senior rescues, every dog has a story worth celebrating.
Many of our blends are named after the dogs who make up our own family, each with their own unique personality, quirks, and adventures. They are the heart behind the names you'll find throughout our collection and a daily reminder that some of life's greatest lessons come from those with four paws.
Giving Back to the Community
Community has always been at the center of what we do.
Throughout the year you'll find us sharing our passion for coffee, tea, and dogs at events across Ohio and Kentucky, including Operation Pumpkin, Hamilton's Christkindlmarkt, The Cincinnati Holiday Show, The Lexington Holiday Show, Anderson Township Historical Harvest Market, My Furry Valentine, and many other festivals, expos, and community events.
We're also proud to support local rescues whenever possible because every dog deserves a loving home, a full belly, and a family to call their own.
